This is a photo of my Celtic Knot tatted Pumpkin. Instructions are available on my website, or by email request.

The stem and leaves are easy to tat in green thread. the pumpkin itself is tatted chain that is then woven into the Celtic Knot.

I call this "lazy Tatting" because you don't really have to count the DS, just tat the chain until it goes around in a circle four times, or about 120 DS.

I guess that I'm thinking about Fall and Winter already. Our grandson, Kaleb, flew home to Florida yesterday instead of me driving him home. He starts High School tomorrow. We really enjoyed having Kaleb spend the Summer with us, and will miss him terribly. It can be very enlightening having a teenager in the house.
